Beautiful De Smet is a community-led campaign by the De Smet Community Foundation to transform Calumet Avenue, De Smet’s main street, for future generations. A welcoming downtown district improve safety, create inviting gathering spaces, encourage visitors to stay longer, strengthen local businesses and increase state and local tax revenue.
The De Smet Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations to this campaign are tax deductible. The campaign welcomes pledges over a 3-year period of 2026, 2027, and 2028. More information about making a donation or a pledge is available here.
